Wisconsin Student Financial Aid


This site leads students, parents, and educators to programs that offer financial ssistance to help students clarify their academic and career interests, prepare for a career, and get them the educational background that the career will require. Programs are designed for middle school and high school students. The site is organized around state, federal, and private sources of assistance.

Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Award Program:
Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Coordinator: Elaine Strom .

  • Excellence Scholarships: $1000 available to graduating seniors.
  • Initiative Scholarships: $1000 to public school graduating seniors on a five-year rotating basis.
  • Teacher Fellowships: $1000 available to teacher and $1000 to their school.
